About MyDash

MyDash started in 2024 as a weekend project: a single HTML page that replaced the cluttered default new-tab screen on my own laptop. Friends kept asking for a copy, so it slowly grew into a small product — still independent, still deliberately simple.

Principles

• Local first. Your dashboard is stored in your browser. The app works offline and phones home to nobody.
• No growth hacks. No pop-ups, no streaks, no engagement bait. A start page should be calm.
• Boring technology. Plain HTML, CSS and a little JavaScript. It will still work in ten years.

Who builds it

MyDash is built and maintained by one developer, with occasional help from a few generous contributors who send patches and translations. Support is a part-time inbox, so replies can take a day or two — but every message is read.
